Intellectual property law is about encouraging innovation and creativity, with objective that holders of inventions, authors, as well as all creators of any kind of intellectual property, are adequately rewarded for their work. The aim for these individuals is to be adequately compensated as well as to protect the integrity of the brand and investments.

This kind of legislation makes it possible to stop the unauthorized "borrowing" or "copying" of another person's rights. The exclusive right to use any business model, artistic creation, or other product of the human mind gives its creators the same opportunity to make money through royalties from the selling or use of their own intellectual property by others. The preservation of intellectual property, including copyright and industrial property rights, is a focus of the MIHAJ LAW office.

We are primarily focused on protecting clients and assisting with the examination of all necessary conditions for trademark registration, domestic and international trademark registration, as well as subsequently extending its validity, in the field of intellectual property, and in accordance with the rules of the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia and the European Patent Office. However, we are also interested in a number of commercial-legal solutions related to the transfe (rights transfer agreements, license agreements, franchise agreements, technology transfer agreements).
We represent clients in disputes involving potential trademark violation before courts, arbitration panels, or administrative bodies. We also stand up for them in disputes involving the registration of internet domains, the cost of using copyrights and performers' rights, as well as disputes including software protection.
